Description of Christmas in St.John Villa 1011:
Overlooking sublime views of Peter Bay and beyond, thie Villa is one of the most luxuriously-detailed homes we've ever offered, set within lush landscaping replete with bananas, lime, papayas, citrus, coconut palms, and a soothing garden waterfall. A grand courtyard entrance welcomes you to hints at the magnificence within. The main villa is an architectural masterpiece of polished coralstone floors, carved coral pillars and dramatic archways set against an artisitic counterpoint of native bluebit stone walls inlaid with seashells from around the world. On the main level, the spacious and airy Great Room's high ceilings, custom handcarved cypress furniture, and sink-into sofas share space with dining areas and a wonderful custom kitchen superbly outfitted with a chef's gas cooktop, double ovens, Caphalon cookware and a generous collection of tableware. French doors open out to Seacove's upper terrace, which overlooks enchanting blue ocean views. The air-conditioned king master suite adjoins, with a separate air-conditioned office complete with an internet-ready computer and a fax machine. A fabulous his-and-hers master bathroom/dressing room completes this lavish suite. The main level also features an air-conditioned library/den/screening room with a wet bar, large-screen TV, wonderful selections of books and movies, sofas, and a sofabed. Stairs lead to Seacove's lower level and to its second living area equipped with a large-screen TV, wet bar and mini-fridge; this area opens directly out to a covered terrace bordered by the heated pool, whimsically inlaid with tile turtles. The second and third air-conditioned bedroom/bath suites are situated on opposite sides of the pool terrace. Across the courtyard is the two-story Gatehouse, each floor offering an air-conditioned queen bedroom/bath suite (the lower suite has a complete small kitchen, and the upper suite two scenic balconies). All bedrooms are air-conditioned and fully screened. As is true in any popular and growing destination, construction of new homes continues on St. John's leeward coast and in and around Peter Bay. We will be happy to get current details of such activity for you, and to give you as much information as we are able to gather or observe about any noise or disturbance near the villa you rent - please inquire.
ALL RENTAL RATES ARE BASED ON TWO PERSONS PER BEDROOM AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. The rental rates listed above do not include GOVERNMENT HOTEL TAX (8% for villas in the U.S. Virgin Islands including St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix; 7% for villas in the British Virgin Islands including Anegada, Little Thatch Island, Tortola and Virgin Gorda, and 8% for villas on Grenada).
A minimum 7-night rental is required during the HIGH SEASON, 5 nights during the LOW SEASON, and 10-14 nights, depending on the villa and island, during the Christmas/New Year's season (December 21 - January 9 and December 19 - January 9 for villas on Virgin Gorda).
