Description of Calabash:
Spyglass Hill, a small gated community, is conveniently located on the east end and very near town, shopping, restaurants and beaches. Within the electronic gate, Calabash enjoys a sweeping view of the island's capital and blue ocean views from the North Shore to Buck Island. Walled for complete privacy, this charming villa's entrance opens to a sunny courtyard complete with a blue-tiled pool and fringed by palm trees and flowering gardens. Three pavilions flank the courtyard; the center pavilion houses the stylish Great Room and completely equipped gourmet kitchen and is skirted by a covered verandah overlooking the twinkling lights of town, the harbor and beyond. Adjacent is the master pavilion, housing the largest bedroom suite with its own covered deck and a very spacious marble bathroom with bidet, large double shower and garden atrium. The third pavilion, across the pool, offers two more bedrooms, one with a garden atrium, and the other with a harbor view and covered deck. Both share a marbled bathroom with double sinks and shower, and bidet. Atmospheric, beautifully furnished, and very private, you'll love this tastefully-appointed and tranquil hideaway.

Rental Notes:
Every Christmas/New Year's period in even-numbered years, St. Croix's Carnival celebration is held in Christiansted, and the island-wide party area is just below Calabash. On odd-numbered years, Carnival is based in Frederiksted on the far west end of St. Croix. Therefore, due to loud noise, bands, etc. near this villa, we do NOT recommend that you rent it for your villa vacation over the Christmas holiday in 2004 or 2006!ALL RENTAL RATES ARE BASED ON TWO PERSONS PER BEDROOM AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. The rental rates listed above do not include GOVERNMENT HOTEL TAX (8% for villas in the U.S. Virgin Islands including St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix; 7% for villas in the British Virgin Islands including Anegada, Little Thatch Island, Tortola and Virgin Gorda, and 8% for villas on Grenada).
A minimum 7-night rental is required during the HIGH SEASON, 5 nights during the LOW SEASON, and 10-14 nights, depending on the villa and island, during the Christmas/New Year's season (December 21 - January 9 and December 15 - January 4 for villas on Virgin Gorda).
