Discover the island of Barbados, where you'll find beautiful palm-fringed white sand beaches, crystal blue seas and warm hospitality. This package includes an island safari tour, catamaran cruise, a tour of the Malibu Rum Factory and evenings at some of the island's premier restaurants. A rental car is also included for 2 days of the trip.
Day 1
Upon your arrival in Barbados, you will be greeted by a member of the Caribbean Discovery staff, who will arrange transportation to your hotel. As you adjust to the pace of island life, take time to relax, enjoy the tropical breezes or stroll along the beautiful white-sand beaches.

Day 2
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up for your Island Safari tour, which promises to show you the island like no one else can! Discover the little known natural wonders of Barbados and learn about the island?s history, folklore and culture from your knowledgeable guide. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the breathtaking vistas as you travel across Barbados by comfortable, safari-rigged open-air Land Rovers. Break under the coconut trees at Cove?s Bay, where you can take in the commanding view of Pico Tenerife, the northern-most point of the island. Dare to venture into Joe's River Forest, where you can have a first-hand look at the terrain that greeted the first settlers who landed in Barbados. Lunch and drinks are included on the tour.
After returning to your hotel, get ready for a delightful evening at Carambola Restaurant, set on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea, where you?ll enjoy a menu offering an enticing combination of French and Asian cuisine with a Caribbean flair.

Day 3
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before setting out for a memorable day on the Caribbean Sea aboard the Tall Ships Tiami Catamaran Cruise. Leave your worries behind as you relax on the deck of a luxurious catamaran and enjoy the warm sunshine and sparkling Caribbean Sea. The Tiami?s staff will cater to your every whim as you glide past the stunning palm-fringed coastline.
The Tiami anchors in a beautiful cove off the West Coast, where you'll enjoy a lunch buffet. Snorkel equipment and floating mattresses are provided for use during anchor, and you will have the opportunity to swim with sea turtles and the many species of tropical fish that inhabit the area.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at the famous Waterfront Caf?, extremely popular with both locals and visitors. Situated on the Careenage (marina) in the middle of the historic capital, Bridgetown, the restaurant offers nightly entertainment ranging from the Caribbean's own Steel Pan music to Dixieland Jazz. The menu offers a combination of Caribbean, American and seafood cuisine and includes many Bajan specialties such as pepperpot, buljol, flying fish and cou-cou.

Days 4 & 5
After breakfast, a rental car will be delivered to your hotel. Spend two days exploring the island at your leisure. We recommend, upon your arrival in Barbados, that you book activities and make dining reservations (as needed). We recommend exploring the island?s three main regions ? the elegant West Coast, where you can find upscale boutiques, restaurants and the charming Speightstown village. The rugged East Coast offers spectacular natural vistas with the crashing waves of the Atlantic (swimming is not recommended) and seaside parks perfect for a picnic lunch. The South coast offers an exciting nightlife, a variety of restaurants and beautiful beaches, popular with both locals and tourists. In between, you?ll find many exciting attractions, including Harrison?s Cave, botanical gardens, a wildlife reserve (complete with Barbados Green Monkeys) and more.
After your adventures, return to the hotel for a relaxing dinner.

Day 6
After breakfast, we?ll set out for a day at the Malibu Beach Club, where you can relax on the beach and enjoy an ocean-side barbeque lunch and cocktails (4 per person included). You can also enjoy a tour (at your leisure) of the nearby West Indies Rum Distillery, home of Malibu Rum. The use of all facilities, including lounge chairs, beach umbrellas, showers, changing rooms and lockers are included.
You can enjoy dinner at your leisure. The hotel will be happy to make a reservation for you at the restaurant of your choice.

Day 7
Following a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, spend the day relaxing on one of the island?s white sand beaches and swim in the crystal blue Caribbean waters, or lounge by the hotel pool. Or, if you choose, take in a few more of the island sites recommended above.
