The villa looks onto the bay at Forio, with a view stretching from Mount Epomeo, along the beaches at San Francesco and Chiaia, and as far as the island of Ventotene. It lies on the promotory of Punta Caruso about 3 kms from the village of Forio, one of the best-known places on the island of Ischia, in a very panoramic and peaceful position, completely surrounded by a first terrace furnished with masonry seating and two dining areas each under its own portico, framed by exotic plants and bouganville, then there is a second terrace that looks towards the sea, with barbeque and open-air shower and a third very secluded belvedere. To reach the swimming-pool, which is shared with the owners, you follow a path covered by mediterranean vegetation. The sea is reached down a path carved in the rock of 130 steps, where ample flat rocks and crystal-clear water let you enjoy nature at its best. The villa, which is completely enclosed, has been comfortably furnished and is equipped with both dishwasher and washing machine, air-conditioning in the bedrooms and also has a covered car-parking space. The island of Ischia can be reached from Naples in about an hour with the normal ferry with your car on board or in about forty minutes by hydrofoil; it is famous for its many thermal springs, for the beauty of the coast, for its archaeological treasures and for its nature. The villages are full of ancient traditions and are well-worth visiting, there are also many restaurants where you can try the excellent local cuisine.
