The apartment lies in Sestiere Cannaregio to the north of the Grand Canal, an area of Venice famous for the presence of some of the best-known palazzi, such as the C? d'oro, a gothic building from the 15th century. The apartment is conveniently placed close to public water transportation, and lies next to Palazzo Guardi in a quiet, typically venetian street (Calle Nova) in a recently renovated two-storey building. The apartment is very comfortable and well-furnished, down to the smallest details. It has air-conditioning in the living-room and in the double bedroom, stereo with CD player, laundry-room and washing-machine. There is nothing that we can add about Venice that is not already been said, everybody knows of it and many have been there - a city built on water that has managed to preserve all of its wonders. It is advisable to go there by plane or by train. Marco Polo airport has rail and sea links to Venice station, and from there you can take public water transport to the Sestiere district of Venice.
