The Dorso Duro district of Venice holds several museums and historic buildings within its symbolic borders: The Galleria dell'Accademia, the Cini Collection, the Squero di San Trovaso. The district lies between the Grand Canal and the Giudecca Canal. All of the streets there seem to lead to the Campo di Santa Margherita, and the piazza throbs with life, in particular in the morning when the market is at its height. L'Approvo is very close to the baroque Santa Maria della Salute, in an enchanting and quiet position, and can be reached along a small and attractive street or straight from the canal via water taxi or - more romantically - in a gondola. From the panoramic terrace on the roof you can take in a beautiful view of the canal and of the banks of Giudecca.
