DESCRIPTION OF Villa
The guest house La Limonaia is set on a larger property in the hills above Lucca on the small valley of S.Giusto di Compito, 7km from the old walled city. The house is located on a small estate of lawns and olive terraces alongside the owner's villa.
The guest house where originally during the winter were stored the lemon trees (that?s why the name Limonaia) has been finely restored with quality accomodation which make the place a romantic one with exceptional beauty.
The house which is beside the owners house accomadate 4 +1 people with 3 bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms and one single room.
We recommend to inquiry if you would like to book La Limonaia for 5 people since our suggestion is always to book the house for only 4 people in a way to have the most comfortable accomodation.
The Guest House:
is located in a wonderful site where you can have sunny days and mild temperatures all year round.
At the front there are large gardens surrounded by wineyards and olive trees.
The house have is own indipendent parking place and his own entrance.
Outside on the garden are available chairs and umbrella where you can relax and dine Al Fresco.
Just beside the owners house in a higher position you can get to the swimming pool surrounded by olive trees which makes a wonderful atmosphere of peace and at the same time keeps 100% the privacy of the guest.
The house is available all year round and provides central heating and also airconditioning for the Master Double Bedroom which is the room at the top floor.
Also there is available telephone, computer with internet access and also a small music system.
Maid service is available 1hour per day for 3 days a week and also there is avalable chef upon request.
The house is composed of 2 floors.
Ground Floor:
Once you get inside there is an open gallery with a double bedroom fully furnished in tipycal tuscan style and an archway leading to the lounge area.
The ground floor also includes a small single bedroom and a bathroom with shower .
Kitchen:
The kitchen is located in a living area which include also fireplace, small hi-fi and TV.
The cooking area is made in tipycal Tuscan style with stone kitchen and a big furniture .
The eat-in kitchen offers any gourmet range and with also machine for American coffee.
The table is large enogh for six people and the room is large and comfortable.
From the kitchen you can get to the back door which takes to the outiside garden where you can find an umbrella with chairs for Al Fresco dinner surrounded by the wiew of S.Giusto Valley.
Double bedroom:
From the lounge area you can get to the ground floor double bedroom fully furnished .
Single bedroom:
From the double bedroom we get throught the corridor where we get to the single bedroom which we recommend mostly for kids .
Bathroom:
Beside the single bedroom there is a fully equipped bathroom with shower.
Upper Floor:
Master Double Bedroom:
From the lounge area there are 2 ramps of wooden stairs which takes to the Master double bedroom also fully furnished with a desk with telephone and computer with internet connection.
This room is also provided of airconditioning.
Laundry :
Outside the Guest house there is small laundry area with washer.
Swimming Pool:
At the back of the owners house there is the swimming pool set in the olive terraces and surrounded by the olive trees.
Around the pool there are outdoor furniture for your hours of relax or for Al Fresco dining.
