Description of wonderful land of Tuscany.:
Our Villa is in Vorno built on a renovated medieval fortress where important aristocracy lived during the XVIII century. The property has been recently restored with care preserving its original architecture and details.
The villa lies about 2 miles from Lucca and provides a very warm reception: It is surrounded by a spacious garden and shaded by plants. On the front yard there is a nicely sized swimming pool (suitable also for children) that is of exclusive use of the guests. There is also a beautiful panoramic garden with terracotta pots of lemon trees (Limonaia). In the rear garden there is a marvellous water lily pond (Ninfeo) with water and a heraldic bearing.
Our Villa can accommodate up to 15 guests. Some bedrooms are painted in fresco and from the windows you can gaze out to the hills or to the city of Lucca with its popular towers. This ancient residence, which represents the artistic style of that period, respectfully maintained, offers all that necessary for a comfortable stay: the rooms are very wide in the most beautiful "maison de charme" style.
On the ground floor there are: an old-styled kitchen with a cooking fireplace, a dining room with a log fireplace, a laundry room with washing machine and iron.
On the first floor, there is a large room with tables, comfortable sofas and armchairs and a log fireplace. There is also a dinng room, a kitchen with a dishwasher, two double bedrooms, a big bathroom with a jacuzzi, a second bathroom.On the upper floor there are five bedrooms, one triple, and four double; and three bathrooms.
Your rental includes a cleaning twice a week, for two hours each time. This service is also available every day on request. We will do our best to fulfil your wish.

In the Vorno village, you will find a good Pizzeria/Restaurant, a coffee bar, two grocery stores, a butcher shop, a bakery. There is also a bus stop near the church, only 200 mts. from the villa.

The village is only about 2 miles, (ten minutes) far from the center of Lucca, one of Tuscany's best towns: a nice walled city midway between Florence and Pisa.
By car from here, Pisa is 20 minutes away, and Florence 45 minutes. On the coast, Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi are only at half an hour's drive.

Security Deposit
In order to to cover any possible breakage or damage to the property and any unpaid telephone and service charges, you are required to pay a security deposit upon arrival at the property. This deposit will be returned after deduction of any unpaid charges, either upon departure or within 14 days of the last day of the visit.
